After registration, Apiway asks you to pick a role on /welcome: Brand / SMM (you generate ads / catalog imagery) or Creator / Photographer (you publish photo sets to the marketplace). The choice only sets the default UI mode — every account can do both, and you can toggle the role at any time.
Brand / SMM mode
Surfaces the Creative hub, gallery, account, and Explore. This is the default for fashion brands, boutiques, Shopify and Amazon sellers, and ad agency teams. You can still rent marketplace photo sets to use in Styled Photoset and use marketplace avatars in White Studio.
Creator / Photographer mode
Surfaces the Creators dashboard first — listings, public profile, earnings, and the Sell flows for photo sets, avatars, and references. Creators can still generate fashion imagery in the Creative hub; the role toggle just changes which surface you see first.
How to toggle the role later
Toggle the role from the sidebar (when in app) or from /app/account. The toggle persists per browser session and across devices on the same account.
