Every marketplace listing supports up to 5 co-authors with a configurable credit split. Each co-author share must be ≥ 1 credit. The owner share can be 0 if the entire creator pool goes to co-authors. The owner + all co-author shares must sum to the total creator pool (minimum 5 credits per generation).

The exact rules (from code)

  • Max co-authors: 5 per listing.
  • Min share per co-author: 1 credit (no fractional shares).
  • Owner share: any non-negative integer (0 allowed).
  • Sum constraint: owner + all co-authors = creator pool credits exactly.
  • Min creator pool: 5 credits per generation.

Common split patterns

  • Solo creator: owner = 100%, no co-authors. Default for self-shot influencer photo sets.
  • Photographer + model (most common): photographer 70–80%, model 20–30%. The model gets a recurring royalty for the work she did at the shoot.
  • Photographer + model + stylist: 65 / 25 / 10. Stylist gets a small share for set design and styling.
  • Model-led set (creator herself shot or chose the photographer): model 60%, photographer 35%, MUA 5%.

How it pays out

Every Styled Photoset generation that uses your listing deducts the buyer price (creator pool + 20% platform markup), pays the platform 20%, and credits the remaining 80% to the owner + co-authors per the configured split. Earnings show up immediately on the Earnings tab of the Creators dashboard.

Can I change the split later?

Splits are tied to the listing version. Changing them post-publish requires editing the listing and re-saving; future generations honor the new split, while past earnings are unchanged. Co-authors are notified when invited.
